Reducing Carbon Emissions with Xmile Enzyme Technology

Updated: Nov 26

Enzyme technology has been known to mankind for millennia's, but what it can do to fuel and its consumption has taken years of experiments and research. As each enzyme, which is a long chain amino acid carries a code very specific to a desired function. After decades of research Xmile has produced the most optimal cocktail, that targets consumption reduction.

Xmile acts on any liquid hydrocarbon fuels, by loosening the long chain molecules, as well as preventing it from binding to impurities of modern day fuel. This enables a fuller combustion, maximising the engine power output, and therefore lowering the consumption.

This consumption reduction is 7% average, and that also means 7% reduction in CO2 emissions.

Maritime industry consumes 300 Million MT of fuel annually. If the industry adopts Xmile today, which is just added to the fuel tank prior bunkering, the industry will save 21 Million MT of fuel, and prevent 66.1 Million MT of CO2 from being emitted, the coming year. Such an immediate impact offsetting, when readily available should not be overlooked.

As this amount of CO2 savings is that of several nations combined.

Maritrix, a pioneering business in the realm of biofuels and carbon emission reduction, has embraced Xmile Enzyme Technology as a key component of its mission to combat climate change. By utilizing this cutting-edge enzyme, Maritrix is able to offer a range of services geared towards reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions in the maritime sector.

We are not only helping their clients meet regulatory compliance standards but also enabling them to achieve significant reductions in their carbon footprint.
