What is xmile?

A bio enzyme that enables shipping to cut emissions 4 - 9 % on a plug and play basis, zero initial investment and immediate results.

How does xmile work?

Enzymes are protein-based catalysts that interact with other molecules on a molecular level to speed up chemical reactions. Xmile, an enzyme, breaks down long-chain carbon molecules and prevents them from binding to impurities. This results in better fuel atomization, fuller combustion, reduced deposits inside engine components, and lower exhaust temperatures and particulate emissions. These factors combine to create a significant reduction in fuel consumption.

How is Xmile applied?

Xmile is mixed with the fuel before combustion with enough time for the enzymes to work on the fuel; depending on customer’s needs, type of fuel, vessel crew and level of xmile adoption it can be mixed with the fuel at the storage tanks or settling tanks. Customer and xmile will define the best solution together.
What is the return on investment (ROI)?

Xmile does not need any CAPEX investment, after an adaptation period (of a few hundred engine hours) fuel consumption will be reduced, and saving will start. After the cost of xmile we can expect a ROI of 300% depending on fuel type and engine conditions.
Will I need to modify my engine or fuel system to use Xmile?

No.
Will using Xmile void my engine warranty or cause any damage to the engine?

Xmile dosage is extremely low, and fuel treated with xmile complies with ISO 8217 standards; therefore, it complies with engine’s manufacturer advise to use fuels under the standard.
Where is Xmile available?

It is produced in The Netherlands, can be delivered to most ports in Belgium, Netherlands and some German ones by truck from the factory; for any other ports it can be easily shipped as is non-hazardous.
Is Xmile safe to handle, store, and use?

Yes, it is non-hazardous, non-flammable, and easy to handle. It does not require special storage or handling procedures.
What kind of fuels xmile works on?

Xmile is only one product, its enzymes work on any liquid fuel HFO, VLSFO, ULSFO, MGO, LSMGO, BIO-FUELS.
Is xmile compatible with all engine types?

Xmile works at a fuel level, so is totally independent of type of engine.
What is the dosage ratio?

1 part per 10,000 (0.01%).
How is Xmile working with Biofuels

Due to its enzyme nature, xmile works inherently good with biofuels. On automobile and standard marine fuels with small FAME content, it has improved fuel stability, however for higher FAME concentration blends, further research is needed to document the effects and dosage required.
What are the long-term benefits of using Xmile?

In addition to fuel savings and emission reductions, Xmile improves fuel stability, reduces engine deposits, and extends engine life, leading to lower maintenance costs over time.
How long lasting are the effects of Xmile?

Xmile works directly on the fuel, therefore must be constantly used, it has been seen that stop usage of xmile increases consumption back.
